ALECTIA A/S acquires Penborn
Technical Services
As of the 1st of August 2008 the Danish based ALECTIA group has acquired Penborn Technical Services. The acquisition is an excellent match for both ALECTIA and Penborn. Penborn will from the 1st of August 2008 be renamed ALECTIA Limited.
Danish ALECTIA has acquired British Penborn Technical Services. The acquisition is motivated by a need for resources to meet a growing demand on brewery and dairy consulting. ALECTIA’s 800 employees provide solutions to a large global client portfolio, e.g. breweries, dairies, water supplies and pharmaceutical companies.
Penborn’s owners have opted to sell the company as senior management are nearing retirement and wish to ensure the company's future. CEO of Penborn, Arthur Jamieson, explains: “In ALECTIA we see the new perfect owner who can take Penborn further, ensuring our company and our employees in the future. Backed by ALECTIA’s organisation and a wider range of skills we will be able to provide better and more integrated solutions to our clients.”
Together the two companies offer a powerful combination of skills and services benefiting an impressive roster of clients including global companies such as Coors, Scottish & Newcastle, Britvic, Diageo, Anheuser Busch, Carlsberg, SAB Miller and Arla.
